Restaurant Le Convivial sur Gex

While on holiday for two weeks in the Jura Mountains, we stopped by Les Cocottes Gessiennes on Thursday evening. What a delight for the taste buds! The perfect egg with morels was succulent, the carpaccio with heirloom tomatoes and lemon-basil sorbet was a treat. The duck was superb, and the beef steak with morels melted in your mouth—excellent. The dessert was superb. Impeccable service, a friendly, smiling waiter with a kind word. Don't miss this Norman restaurant; it's well worth the stop. Mr. and Mrs. Hue.

A highly esteemed restaurant that will surprise you with its culinary refinement. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere convivial, with prompt service. As for the dishes and desserts, everything is made from fresh, flavorful ingredients, magnificently prepared by the chef, who truly deserves his title. A must-try for discerning palates.

Dish of the day and service were very good. A minor drawback: 11 euros for a 2.5 dl carafe of mediocre Côtes du Rhône.

We had a wonderful time at Les Cocottes Gessiennes. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The dishes served are exquisite, showcasing the meat beautifully. They also gave excellent wine recommendations. I highly recommend it!
