Restaurant Le Donjon sur Houdan

What a marvel! It's pure magic to see how this chef transforms magnificent ingredients into pure delight, marrying the nobility of the product with the poetry of the presentation. Every bite was an enchantment for the taste buds. I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, but I hadn't had the chance until today. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! The waitstaff demonstrated impeccable professionalism and attentiveness. It couldn't have been better. The foie gras was absolutely divine! It had a velvety texture, enhanced by the light crunch of fleur de sel, and was accompanied by delicate gingerbread toasts whose lightness perfectly highlighted the original flavor of the product, all enhanced by a fruit chutney. I won't spoil the surprise that awaits you on the menu of this establishment. See for yourself. There's also a very good set menu at a very reasonable price for lunch on weekdays and Saturdays. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I particularly appreciated the lush greenery of the many plants and the interesting paintings on the walls. Furthermore, the charm of the old building and the stone floors created a feeling of great comfort. I must admit that the town of Houdan is brimming with talent, no matter where I look. I love it! Thank you! We'll be back!

A wonderful time. Théo, the waiter, took excellent care of my aunt, who was delighted! The dishes were delicious and full of flavor. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful surprise! Creative, technically skilled, and delicious cuisine. You can taste the real thought and care behind every dish. I loved the beef ravioli; everything was perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

Not disappointed! We had a wonderful lunch for Grandma's birthday! The welcome was warm and the service professional. The waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. Absolutely delighted from the aperitif to the coffee!! The food was delicious, beautifully presented with a variety of flavors… We loved it!!
