I came for the first time for a birthday celebration without any preconceived notions, and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Just a few meters from the Saint-Jacques Saint-Christophe church, the place is very welcoming and warm, elegantly decorated, with a cozy atmosphere. The various dishes and appetizers on the menu are all enticing and refined. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, the service from your team was impeccable, and the food was simply exceptional (a special mention for the semi-cooked foie gras, which was simply stratospheric). From start to finish, the level of expertise remained consistent: appetizers, main courses, and desserts of equal quality, sophisticated, rich in flavor, and perfectly executed. A big thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome, and congratulations to Chef Ameho, who is clearly a true professional in his field!

A pleasant surprise! Excellent value for money for the lunch menu. The food was good, and the dishes were beautifully presented and appetizing. Very welcoming and friendly service. One minor drawback: the toilets were clean, but the tap was broken and there was no soap.

At Le Donjon, the word GASTRONOMY truly comes to life. The dishes are refined and exquisitely presented. The service is impeccable. We savored exceptional foie gras, prawns, mussels, and scallops, all delicately prepared, followed by a truly indulgent coffee and a rum baba with light Chantilly cream. We highly recommend this restaurant and, of course, plan to return.

Discovered this restaurant as part of a gift box. The set menu was very comprehensive. The quality of the dishes was remarkable. The cooking and seasoning were spot on—a true culinary art! I had the lamb shank and was delighted by the sauce... absolutely wonderful! The foie gras was superb with the gingerbread slices... a real treat. The atmosphere was calm, and we weren't bothered by the noise. This was quite pleasant, allowing us to chat without raising our voices. The service was good. Considering the quality, I think it was excellent value for money. We'll be back!! :-)
