Restaurant Le Jules Gommès sur Regneville-Sur-Mer

The two of us enjoyed a delicious meal: a small, fresh salad as a starter, roasted fresh sardines as a main course, and a homemade frozen mint terrine with dark chocolate sauce (like an After Eight, but hot and cold) for dessert, along with four coffees. Everything was delicious, served on the terrace by two friendly, efficient, and smiling young people. Highly recommended.

A wonderful discovery, recommended by local friends... We ordered à la carte, with a half-bottle of Menetou-Salon red (not often found on restaurant wine lists, which mostly feature white wines) which was perfect... An experience to repeat, it's a shame we don't live closer! Keep up the good work!

I'm currently touring the Cotentin peninsula on my motorcycle, exploring the west coast today. Around lunchtime, I arrived in the charming little town of Regnéville. Like everyone else, I stopped by the sea; there's a small parking area. I looked around for places to eat, and it was simple: two options didn't suit me. Just 500 meters further on, I found Jules Gommès with its shaded terrace, which immediately caught my eye. I arrived at 12:15, which was fortunate because it filled up very quickly after I arrived. I received a very warm welcome and was able to quickly order six excellent locally sourced oysters, followed by the daily special: grilled sardines. My sweet tooth was further indulged by the strawberries Melba with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. In short, don't hesitate to walk the 500 meters from the center of Regnéville to this excellent traditional restaurant; it's well worth it.

What a wonderful discovery Jules Gommès is! From the moment we walked in, the owner gave us a warm and genuine welcome—you immediately feel that you're in the hands of passionate people. The dishes are delicious, homemade, and made with local ingredients that make all the difference. The cuisine is excellent, simple, and effective, but with little innovations that pleasantly surprise (and the menu changes frequently, which makes you want to come back!). The service was impeccable, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, you feel right at home. Delicious food, very pleasant service: don't hesitate to step inside Jules Gommès; you're sure to have a superb meal.

Adorable restaurant Very nice people

We came for my 80th birthday with the family for lunch. The children chose fish, and two of us chose a steak, but unfortunately, the meat was almost impossible to cut. A shame, especially for meals at this price. The dessert and starter were fine.
