Restaurant Les Voiles d'Or sur Dieppe

Everything was perfect as usual

We were particularly surprised to learn that Les Voiles d’Or restaurant had been awarded a star, as our experience there seemed to fall far short of the standards this distinction is supposed to represent. A Michelin star usually evokes a cuisine marked by a strong identity, impeccable technical mastery, and an attentive and refined dining experience. During our visit, these elements unfortunately seemed to be lacking. The welcome was lukewarm and sometimes clumsy, creating a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere from the outset, far removed from the professionalism and elegance one has the right to expect from an establishment distinguished by the Michelin Guide. In the kitchen, the dishes were decent but uneven: sometimes unbalanced proportions, some imprecise cooking, and, above all, a lack of depth and creativity. While the cuisine remained honest, it lacked the precision and culinary signature one expects from a starred restaurant. The surprise was all the greater when the bill arrived, as it seemed particularly high considering the actual quality of the food. Overall, the experience felt more like a good bistro than a true gastronomic destination worthy of such recognition.

Top-notch restaurant! We had the tasting menu and it was pure bliss. The fish was perfectly cooked. The amuse-bouche was exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was our first time, but we'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

Excellent experience, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert and sweet treats. A very warm welcome, impeccable and prompt service. A pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The "Voiles d'Or" tasting menu was an impromptu affair: flavorful, varied, and generous dishes. Beautifully presented with a delightful interplay of textures. A wide selection of cheeses. Excellent value for money for a Michelin-starred restaurant, given the quality and diversity of the ingredients. I highly recommend it to lovers of fine dining! Best wishes.

Excellent meal, refined and flavorful. Well deserved star...

It might have been far too long ago, but this was one of our best culinary experiences ever in France. We were staying near Dieppe, and the owner of our B&B recommended it. It was an unforgettable evening. With the best scallops, the most delicious lobster, and the most beautiful dessert. Every time we're in France, memories of this fantastic restaurant come flooding back. Based on recent experiences, it's apparently still just as good as it was back then. Kudos.

Exquisite dishes, excellent welcome, efficient service, and reasonably priced wines (including organic Chinon). We had lunch there twice. Prices are more affordable on weekdays, as I mentioned, including a bottle of Chinon. In short, perfect!

We discovered this excellent restaurant during our visit to Dieppe. A big thank you for the all-fish menu. The presentation and taste of the dishes were of very high quality. The service was very professional and pleasant. We highly recommend this restaurant.
