A little gem! Homemade, fresh, and expertly prepared food, with a special mention for the incredibly friendly welcome. We visited twice during a weekend trip to Rouen, once for lunch and once for dinner, and were delighted each time. Don't hesitate.

Best dinner of my week in Normandy! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was truly excellent: the entrecôte with the perfect pepper sauce and the delicious gorgonzola ravioli. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant the day before Valentine's Day and we had a wonderful time! I ordered two appetizers instead of one main course, and I highly recommend the black radish tagliatelle with Comté cheese, apples, and pomegranate. I've rarely enjoyed an appetizer so much, even though I'm not usually a big fan of radishes! My boyfriend's steak was perfectly cooked and delicious, and the homemade fries were fantastic! The dessert was also excellent; we highly recommend this place! The gentleman who served us was lovely and very welcoming.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The cheese and charcuterie board was generous, featuring quality products, and the terrace setting is idyllic when the weather is sunny. The focaccia was also exquisite! I highly recommend it! I will definitely be back 😊

Very nice ambiance and a very friendly host. The food was good, except for maybe the fries, which were too soggy for my liking. The brioche perdue was just finger licking good.

08/12/2025: We had dinner there as a group of three on Sunday evening. We were pleasantly surprised by this pizzeria; the pizza was good, the ingredients were high quality, the waiter was very pleasant, the price was reasonable, the tiramisu was excellent, and the Bardolino red wine was also very good – a great place to eat!
03/12/2025: My best friend and I came for lunch and received a very warm welcome. The servers were incredibly attentive, friendly, polite, and kind. We each ordered a starter and a main course, and everything was excellent and generously portioned. We left with full stomachs and a wonderful time! Well done!

05/05/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The atmosphere at La Madeleine is both warm and welcoming. A huge thank you to the owner, Arthur, for his kindness and helpfulness, as well as to his entire team. As for the food, the dishes are always excellent. Go without hesitation!
