Restaurant O-Pho sur Marseille

Hands down the best Asian food I’ve had! Coming from Switzerland, I’ve tried many places, but this spot really stands out. The portions are huge, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the service is wonderful. If you love Asian cuisine—especially authentic Vietnamese food like pho, rice dishes, and home-style meals—I highly recommend coming here!

Excellent restaurant, very tasty and generous portions

We had lunch there as a couple on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. It was quite busy, but the dining room was spacious and not too noisy. We started with pork spring rolls, followed by a mixed wok dish with chicken, beef, and shrimp. The spring rolls were well-prepared, the wok dishes were beautifully presented and generously filled, and the chicken and beef were cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous. It was excellent. We had a rosé wine to accompany the meal, which was perfect. The waitress and waiter were very friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The value for money was unbeatable.

The pho was tastier than the other dishes. The broth is rich and good. However, perhaps because it is popular with locals, when I went for lunch, it was almost full, very chaotic, and noisy.

I ordered the chicken pho and shrimp dumplings to go. The chicken in the soup wasn't cooked. This can cause serious indigestion and illness. Also, there were roots on my bean sprouts. Finally, the dumplings were soggy. I don't quite understand, as I used to come often and hadn't necessarily had any problems; the dumplings were good, as I recall. As for the soup, it was the first time I'd ordered it. Are these kinds of problems only present with certain dishes on the menu? I also regret the amount of plastic used to individually wrap each sauce and vegetable for each dish. It would be better to ask the customer directly what they would like to add to avoid waste. Aside from that, the service was excellent and efficient. I will return to try other dishes, hoping I simply caught them on an off day.

Excellent food! Generous portions, delicious, and authentic. I loved my dish: Peking duck served with crepes... Perfectly cooked, tender, and crispy. The prices are reasonable. A wonderful discovery during a stroll. I highly recommend it!

Very satisfied with the restaurant. The service was incredibly fast, the food tasted good, and the plates were quite cheap for the amount of food that was served. We got there after 22:00 and that wasn't a problem.

I've known this place for years and it's still just as excellent! The dishes, while appetizing, might seem a bit large at first glance, but they're so delicious that you finish them without any trouble! The beef Bo Bun (€12.50) is excellent! The open kitchen is a real plus! Thank you to the whole team!
