We went there somewhat by chance and ended up having a very good meal. Many things are homemade. The service is impeccable and the staff are very pleasant and attentive.

Friendly staff and top-notch cuisine, super tasty, hearty, with something for everyone.

Western ambiance. Ample parking, helpful staff. Menu with many meat choices and Old Wild West-style burgers. Recommended if you want a change from French cuisine. American-style desserts.

What a cozy restaurant. That is what you would say upon arrival. A barn in the E. Leclerc parking lot. Friendly waiter who speaks good English, delicious food, and fantastic dessert. Stylish old American decor. You can even eat in a horse-drawn carriage or barrel. Great value for what you get.

We had a very good meal, the service was quick as we like it, the only thing missing was an American beer on the menu.

Visiting the Normandy beaches, Carentan is the perfect central location for exploring the area from Cherbourg to Ouistreham. During my six-day trip, Uncle Scott's was my go-to restaurant for six consecutive nights, and I never got tired of it. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, the service was quick, and the staff—the owner, his son, and the young, attractive waitresses—were incredibly welcoming. The decor is 100% Western, a guaranteed escape! Highly recommended for all these reasons; I had excellent dinners all six nights! I'll definitely be back! Try the Norman fondue made with melted Livarot cheese! A truly delicious idea!!! Thank you!
