Fried mussels: lack of aromatic herbs, white cooking wine in minimal quantity.

We specifically went to this restaurant based on the reviews. However, we expected a little more. We were placed in the back area, a bit uncomfortable in terms of chairs and tables. The food was.....mixed platter with mussels, calmari etc. was mostly fried in thick industrial breading. So nothing like you would imagine in a restaurant right by the sea. The service was OK. but not exceptional.

Stop in the afternoon after a hike in St Tropez

If you are after a great dining experience right on the beach close to the centre of Le Lavandou, don't look any further....but do make a reservation since this venue is understandable quite popular. Direct views over the Mediterranean sea, alfresco dining & cosy ambience. Friendly and efficient service, interesting varied menu and serving one of the best apple desserts we have experienced during our many restaurant visits Definitely a venue we will return to !

We had lunch at Coco Beach on a somewhat cloudy and very windy day. It was therefore easy to find a parking spot close by, we were lucky! Despite the weather, it was comfortable to sit in. We ordered the wilde seabass with some chips for me. My wife is gluten intolerant and as she has been ill from the restaurant food a few times while in France, she was very careful in here choice and finally decided to go for the fish only. We were really happy with the quality of the fish and its preparation on the wood fire, according to my wife, the best she has eaten during our holidays. I had a tarte tatin for afters, also tasty! The bill was as expected, no surprises. We agreed that we shall definitely return to this restaurant during our next holiday!

Passing through Coco Beach, the setting is sublime. Thanks to the kindness of Marine who was able to prepare two sublime cocktails for us which we could enjoy by the beach. (She will recommend the strawberry daiquiri, go for it with your eyes closed!) I highly recommend
