I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant, warmly welcomed by Valérie. We felt right at home. Margot, behind the bar, makes truly delicious cocktails – a real treat. As for the food, the burger and the Steeve steak were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and made with high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend this place!

A superb experience at this restaurant. Anthony at reception is truly fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. Margot, at the bar, served us delicious cocktails. Clara made excellent steak tartare, perfectly suited to our tastes. The meat was of very high quality. I highly recommend this establishment.

An authentic, local restaurant primarily for carnivores. Traditional Alsacian dishes plus a very long list of variations on steak tartare. Clearly the house specialty - most guests ordered this including my husband, who claims that it’s the best he’s ever eaten. Even the fries were perfect! We will definitely be back. Friendly service, comfortable atmosphere.

Passing through Mulhouse this week, I had always had very fond memories of this steak tartare... still as good as ever!
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves steak tartare.

We went to Hug restaurant with a couple of friends to try their famous steak tartare. No complaints there.
However, the stifling heat in the restaurant somewhat spoiled our meal.
I think the owner should consider investing in an air conditioning system or efficient ventilation soon.
When you see all the customers trying to cool off with fans and menus, not to mention those splashing water on their faces in the restrooms... I think this situation needs serious consideration.

An institution!
If you're looking for steak tartare, this is the best restaurant in the entire region. Friendly staff, beautifully presented and generous portions. They offer over 20 tartares, from the most classic to the most original.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

What a waste…
The service was so appalling… the wait was unbearable (we didn't order dessert because even just to take our order, we waited over 20 minutes).
Our waitress made mistakes with our order from beginning to end, was unfriendly, and didn't smile once… it completely ruined our meal.
The only real positive point about this restaurant is the food. The snails, beef carpaccio, and tartares are truly excellent.
Despite the fact that the food was excellent, we don't plan to return because of the service.
P.S.: The person who prepares and serves the tartares is very kind and always smiling, despite her heavy workload. Furthermore, her tartares are truly delicious.
