The staff were smiling and welcoming, however, the Thai rice was extremely dry and difficult to eat, the caramel chicken (without caramel, and very runny and tasteless), and the coconut milk, banana, and tapioca pearl dessert was far too sweet; we couldn't even finish it. Finally, the prices were much too high for the quality of the food. The rest of the food we bought was quite good. Overall, a rather mixed experience.
The taste is as delicious as that of West Lake fish in vinegar sauce and fermented bean juice from Beijing, and the service is as warm as that of a Hong Kong dai pai dong (outdoor food stall).
Okay, but there might be a few surprises on the bill. Remember to ask for a breakdown if it seems too high. That's because something was added "by mistake." :)
