Restaurant Traiteur La Croisée sur Clapiers

For the third time, as neighbors from Castelnau, we returned to this restaurant which we had thoroughly enjoyed. This time, the discovery was the lovely, well-hidden, shaded, and peaceful terrace. The menu, very good, remains remarkably good value for money. Well done!

A wonderful discovery for our first time. A sublime setting, a very pleasant shaded terrace. We ate very well, with fresh, homemade ingredients. The table service was impeccable; we wanted for nothing, and the staff were very friendly. Moreover, it was a special Gypsy evening with the group Los Kémados Gipsy and a magnificent flamenco dancer. My wife and I had a superb evening. Thank you all. We will be back!

Not very professional, I had a reservation for a wedding in July 2026. Last week, the owner told us it wasn't possible to book our wedding meal; we were already fully booked. Very disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal on the terrace, with an all-fish menu and a delicious white wine from Maison Cazes. Good value for money and a warm welcome in a beautiful patio – I highly recommend it!

Perhaps very good, but it was the wrong day to judge! The set menu is €22 for a starter and main course, or €29 for a starter, main course, and dessert. For a first visit, it wasn't a success. Even though the homemade Camargue terrine was absolutely delicious, the osso buco was a poor choice: the meat was undercooked, full of fat, served with very greasy pasta, an overly thin sauce, and tiny diced vegetables. Not good at all! Why serve the hot starter almost at the same time as the aperitif if there's an interminable wait afterward? Over an hour and a quarter between the starter and the main course! We had to skip dessert and coffee due to time constraints. Why do they allow so many people (the outdoor terrace was full) when there are staff members absent? Not nice for the customers or for the servers who are even working in the kitchen. Not a word of apology, not an explanation, and no gesture of goodwill! Why not warn customers there's a problem and why accept reservations at all?! No carafe of wine and wine by the glass for 6 euros! And a soda or Orangina-style drink for 4 euros served directly into the glass...no bottle on the side. Not very professional! It's as if it came from a large bottle!

First visit and a very pleasant surprise; the setting is magnificent, the food is perfect, and the service is equally excellent. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Delicious! Excellent, sublime... and I'm being conservative compared to reality. Plus, they're friendly. Definitely going back soon!
