Restaurant Vezuviu sur Saint-Denis

04/01/2026: Great experience at this restaurant, excellent food, excellent and fast service, generous portions. Pleasant, I recommend it.

25/11/2025: Two of us went for lunch and a chat. The atmosphere was very calm (even though the neighborhood is quite lively). I ordered a plate of lamb ribs: nothing extraordinary, but quite filling, I thought. Despite the affordable sandwiches, the main dishes are a little pricey compared to the Parisian general market. Moreover, their strong point is the vegetarian sandwich, which you rarely see at kebab shops! A vegetarian friend I was with brought me back, so it makes sense. The place is wheelchair accessible, even the restrooms (see photos). If I may mention a drawback, it's the ordering system: we ordered at the main counter, and they told me that for main dishes, it was at the counter next door. At the counter next door, I repeated the same thing, but they told me, "It's not here, find a seat." Logically, I wasn't entirely sure if my order had even been placed. At the table, a server came to ask for our order. My friend repeated the same thing, and I repeated it for the third time. It wasn't exactly infuriating, but it was really unproductive, and I couldn't help but feel like we weren't being taken seriously as customers. Aside from that, the staff were friendly, and the food wasn't bad at all! Highly recommended! Especially for vegetarians!
