I had ordered several times before, but this week I went to the restaurant for the first time, and everything was delicious!

I placed my order via the website and was able to pick up my meal very quickly. The welcome was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed it! An address to keep in mind 🍜

A wonderful discovery of Vietnamese cuisine.

We went there on a Saturday at lunchtime. Without a reservation, but we arrived quite early (12:30 pm). The restaurant is small, so it filled up quickly. (That's a good sign 😉) But the tables were a bit too close together, not much space. The welcome was very pleasant, the waitress was smiling, and the service was quick. For the meal, the spring rolls were very good as a starter. The plain stir-fried noodles were a little dry, but the beef with onions was delicious. And the Pho xao was super good. We paid our bill with a Wonderbox gift voucher without needing to make a reservation. No extra charges for us. We left with a sealed doggy bag because we hadn't finished everything.

The pho soup was tasteless; it was nothing like a broth that had simmered for hours, more like boiling water with a bouillon cube. The service was as impersonal as could be. It's a shame, it was better a few years ago. Their popularity stems from the fact that they're the only one in Caen.

The aromas of coriander and broth waft through the door. Four-star quality is a given, but the pho lacks herbs and a more robust broth, and the raw/cooked meat is practically nonexistent—everything is pre-cooked. The spring rolls lack coriander, and the measly two shrimp and/or beef scraps cost €3.20 each, a far cry from what you'd find in Paris or Hanoi in terms of quality and price. Service: good, but lacking the typical friendliness; you feel like just an order, a number. Atmosphere: the proximity to neighboring tables encourages conversation, but otherwise, it would be perfect if the food were sublime. The signature dishes are absent: banh cuon, cha ca, bunch cha… A good establishment, but it should rethink its approach to showcase its ingredients. Without innovation, it's difficult to return regularly, as boredom sets in after a few visits (the menu lacks new additions).
