Richart sur Paris

Definitely a hidden gem in Paris. They have some of the best macarons possibly in the entirety of Paris - and that’s saying something! They have several types but I always love selecting a box filled with assorted macaron flavors (that you can select yourself from their wide selection). If you’re a macaron lover, do not skip this spot if you’re in Paris!

A warm, professional, and knowledgeable welcome from a shop manager who knows her customers and their tastes well. Delicious fruit jellies and very fine, subtle dark chocolates.

Really delicious chocolates and really helpful and friendly assistants working in the shop. They talked me through all the options and gave me a couple tastes when I couldn't decided. The women working Monday and Tuesday were especially kind so I came back here to get my chocolate gifts instead of one of the many other chocolate shops in Paris. I'm very happy with my decision.

I usually don’t write reviews, but even though I was only in the shop for about five minutes, it was genuinely one of the best service experiences I’ve had in Paris. I was helped by a lovely lady named Audrey, and from the moment I mentioned that I was in a rush, she was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She helped me choose the macarons quickly without ever making the experience feel rushed or stressful. What especially stood out to me was that, while she was preparing everything, she had already set up the payment machine before we had even finished choosing, simply because she remembered I was in a hurry. It’s such a small detail, but exactly the kind of attentiveness that makes exceptional service stand out. She was warm, efficient and genuinely service-oriented, and I left the shop in a much better mood than when I walked in. Thank you, Audrey!

We went to try the macarons after seeing this place recommended on YouTube. We can't compare them to others because we didn't try them from other places, but we loved them. We'd never had them before and thought they might be too sweet, but at least Richart's weren't cloying or overly sweet at all; the flavor was very well balanced. The price is lower than Laudree's, which is so famous (and, in our opinion, excessively overpriced). They come in a little box with plastic molds inside to protect them. The saleswoman was very friendly and even offered us a small piece of lavender chocolate (very tasty, by the way, and not cloying either). We couldn't choose a favorite flavor; we loved all the ones we tried! A great treat and souvenir after a long day of walking around the city and seeing its monuments!

The store owner is delightful and so helpful! Amazing selection of chocolates and macarons. We had fun shopping and are bringing home some phenomenal gifts!
