December 2023 Lunch This was my first visit with my mother. We made a reservation two days in advance. This time, we had a reservation-only lunch course, so we made one, but I realized it was essential. A customer arrived without a reservation, but they were told the restaurant was fully booked. Lunch Course with Kuroge Wagyu Beef Rump: ¥4,980 ~Small Bagna Cauda~ They had a vegetable called yacon, which I tried for the first time, and it was very sweet and delicious. I'm not a big fan of bagna cauda, ​​but this one was delicious. ~Appetizer Platter~ Delicious from the outside! I love the excitement of this small assortment. Everything was delicious. ~Pasta (choose from 6 types)~ Spaghetti with homemade sausage and vegetables in tomato sauce: It was delicious, but it had a strong herb-like aroma, which may be off-putting to those who don't like strongly flavored dishes. I didn't mind it, but my mother didn't. ・Tagliatelle with white fish and seaweed cream sauce, flavored with yuzu pepper → It was delicious. After reading the reviews, I had absolutely decided to order this. After trying it, I was convinced! I'll probably order the same thing the next time I go (lol). I'm also curious about the sea urchin pasta... ~Meat Dish~ The lean meat was very tender, and I ate it with a squeeze of lemon. The accompanying vegetables were also delicious, except for the daikon radish, which was hard and bitter and a bit disappointing. (Maybe it's because the daikon radish harvest was poor this year.) When I made my reservation, I wondered whether to add a meat dish, but it was the right decision. However, it seemed too much for my mother, who has a small appetite, so I ended up eating half of the meat dish myself. Lighter eaters might prefer to skip the meat dish. ~Dessert~ I had lemon panna cotta. It was delicious, but I was a little disappointed because I was hoping for a dessert platter. I wonder if dessert platters are a dinner thing? ~Coffee~ I ordered coffee and tea, but honestly, I'm not a big fan of either, so I'd appreciate a juice option. As expected! It's a restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide. This is my second visit, and the service and food are more than perfect! I can't believe you can get food like this for this price! If you eat it in the city, it would be more than double? I think it would be more than triple. To be honest, I don't want to tell anyone about this restaurant because I don't want to make it any harder to get a reservation. I'll definitely visit again soon!

I always come here for lunch, and everything is delicious because it's authentic and no shortcuts are taken. Today, even the dessert at the end of the meal left me impressed. The quality is completely unbelievable for this price, but I'm so grateful to the chef, who I think makes it easy to visit in a way that suits the local atmosphere. Perhaps it's his personality, but the restaurant is wonderful, with great food and a homey feel. I'll definitely visit in the evening next time.
