So, I don't usually leave reviews, but this time it's a must. I went to the Buffet Royal in Mérignac, the new establishment that just opened next to the old one, less than 50 meters away. Superb establishment, no complaints there, lots of choices, nothing to say about that either. However, regarding the price, it's a huge disgrace! It's not just an increase, it's a price hike! On Sundays, the price has gone from €25.90, which we used to pay, to €32.90, a €7 increase on the buffet. Isn't that a bit shameful?! So now I'm heading to L'Océanique, which stays at €25.90 on Sundays.

A must-try! A weekday visit is preferable due to the crowds. No reservations are needed, so arrive at least 30 minutes before opening. The dishes and seafood, sushi, salads, spring rolls, fritters, charcuterie, etc., are all incredibly fresh! The meats and fish, which you can grill in the wok with or without sauce, come in generous portions—you'll love it, even the sea bream! 😉 Meat and fish lovers, it's delicious! 😋 Huge all-you-can-eat buffets. Enjoy!

A pleasant evening, the staff were lovely and very friendly, we lacked nothing, a well-stocked buffet with something for everyone, a great evening, I invite you to make the detour, you will not be disappointed.

It had been four years since my last visit.
I was very disappointed. The thawed shrimp were difficult to peel, the leg of lamb was overcooked and impossible to chew, the dishes were cold and very salty, and the desserts weren't thawed. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review, but it was very disappointing.

Excellent all-you-can-eat buffet, varied and well-prepared. We've been several times and have never been disappointed. It's a bit noisy, but the room is very large and there's a magnificent, huge round table with a rotating tray, perfect for groups.

There's a huge selection, a very varied and generally very good buffet. A little too salty for my taste, but we had a pleasant time. The atmosphere is very nice, not too noisy, and the buffet is replenished regularly. Parking is a bit difficult; the restaurant is huge, but the parking lot is quite small.
