This was my first time staying at the hotel, and I chose it for its breathtaking views — quite possibly the most beautiful view in all of Champagne — and its outstanding infrastructure. What I didn’t expect was how deeply meaningful this place would become to me — it was here that I proposed to my then-girlfriend.
From months in advance, the hotel team helped me carefully plan and organize every detail. Lucile, my guest experience manager, was simply phenomenal. She supported me with creative ideas for the proposal and flawlessly orchestrated every day of our stay in this beautiful region — from lunches and dinners to private tours. The team even helped monitor the weather to ensure the proposal moment would be perfect. Lucile also arranged a photographer, which made the experience even more special.
Breakfast was outstanding, and the restaurant is very good and consistently reliable. The wine selection is strong and thoughtfully curated. Every single employee was attentive, warm, and genuinely willing to help.
I highly recommend taking the hotel bikes and riding around Champillon and Hautvillers — an unforgettable way to experience the surroundings.
I truly hope to return someday to relive these incredible moments.
