Royal Grand Buffet sur Geispolsheim

The restaurant is closed indefinitely due to renovations; everything inside has been gutted. When calling, a recording plays in Chinese. Upon arrival at the restaurant, it is chaos. Many customers come to look, like us, because they are unclear about the opening hours. Well, I want to report that they are not opening anytime soon as stated. It is not right that they do not mention that they are closed due to renovation 🤔🥲

Nice buffet with a very good selection

A very wide selection of meats, fish, salads, vegetables, starters and desserts, and much more. The products are fresh and well-prepared.

The restaurant's exterior was extremely dirty; they didn't even bother with a rug... it was littered with cigarette butts... I didn't want to go in... thankfully the interior was clean.

There are flies on the buffet plate, the kitchen asks for well-cooked meat, he gives it to me rare. Kitchen, I'm brave, it's good, kitchen.

Good products, reasonable quantity

This is a very large all-you-can-eat restaurant, and when we visited it was quite busy. The food was good, with a wide variety of options to choose from. You can pick your own ingredients for a wok, as well as selecting meat and seafood to be freshly grilled for you. The sushi section offered a good variety of freshly prepared rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, making it a great choice for sushi lovers. There was also a great selection of vegetables, fresh fruit, desserts, and ice cream, so everyone could find something they liked. The price was €25.90 for adults and €10.90 for children. If you’re passing through the area, it’s definitely worth a visit.

As always, the dishes were substantial and of good quality, but what disappointed us during our last visit was the state of the floor. There was a lot of food on it, and nothing had been cleaned, making it slippery and sticking to our shoes. When we pointed it out to the waiter, he replied that he was tired (poor man) and that nothing had been cleaned until our departure at the end of service around 3:00 PM.

Well... Varied, but not necessarily tasty... As a filler – okay, but for regular visits – no...
