Last night, I had dinner at Sabraj for five. The food is very good, the service is quick, and the decor is quite charming. So far, so good, but... The welcome was stiff, even icy. The waiter stated firmly that cumin lassi "doesn't exist." I asked him if they didn't make it, and he replied, slightly irritated, "No, madam, it's not that we don't make it, it's that it doesn't exist." (I order it all the time in Indian restaurants, from Masala lassi with spices to salty ones.) So I had a plain lassi. Then he took away my aperitif glass, which I hadn't finished, and spilled its contents on the table and on the person across from me (luckily it was white wine). He didn't offer me a replacement glass for the spilled drink, then cleaned up his blunder in icy silence, without so much as a glance. Shortly after, he brought the dishes but removed the plate of chutneys from the table "to make room" (so we didn't get the seasonings I love so much), and to top it all off, while we were eating, he cleaned the next table by spraying an enormous amount of cleaning spray—we were dining at Mr. Clean! All this without ever cracking a smile. He was very intimidating. We were with friends, and I didn't want to cause an incident, but I won't be going back. When I got home, just to be sure, I searched online and found loads of cumin lassi recipes (it could have been a special invention for Europeans, not made in India), including Indian videos in their original version, in Hindi! It's a shame; I used to like this restaurant, but this is just too much. You don't go to a restaurant to be afraid of getting yelled at by the owner...

A cozy little Indian restaurant with fair prices. Overall, the food was excellent. All our main courses were really delicious, the naan was good, and the papadums with dips were also great. The mango lassi, at €5 for half a liter, was incredibly cheap, but a bit too thin. The two of us paid just €63 for appetizers and drinks. The very friendly waiter didn't want a tip, saying he wasn't allowed to. I've now tried five different Indian restaurants in Paris, and this one is definitely my second favorite. I would eat there again anytime.

The best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The portions are very generous. I bring all my family and friends. I recommend coming at lunchtime because they have special menu offers, and it gets expensive quickly in the evening.

Delicious! It's a welcome change from Indian restaurants where everything tastes the same. It's very good, the service is very friendly, and it's worth the price, which is perfectly reasonable.

Truly the best cheese naan I've ever had! The butter chicken was very tasty. We thank the manager for his hospitality. This small, beautifully decorated restaurant deserves to be discovered by a much wider audience.

Excellent experience, the best chicken korma I've ever had. The decor is elegant. The staff are attentive and professional. One small detail I really appreciated was the table decoration with the bird-shaped napkins – refined and aesthetically pleasing.

The setting is beautiful from afar, but the premises lack hygiene.
