Great vegetarian restaurant near Gare du Nord with excellent service! I'll definitely be back, it was a fantastic find.

The menu is varied, the staff are there to advise us, and you can find dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, even in more traditional Indian restaurants. We ate very well for a very reasonable price.

At €15 for the South Indian Thali, the experience was disappointing. Only the rice was served hot, while all the side dishes were cold. The portions were also quite small, especially considering the prices in the area. As for the flavor, the dish lacked character and turned out to be rather bland. It's a shame, because the offering falls far short of expectations. There are better places in the neighborhood to discover South Indian cuisine.

Don't be put off by the storefront; it's a very good restaurant with friendly service, generous portions, and everything is delicious. No alcoholic drinks are served.

22/08/2026: In the afternoon, a beer on the terrace, Happy Hour 5 euros a pint 👍, very friendly welcome from the (blond) waiter... I recommend it more than La Villa Gambetta just across the street... We do have some great cafes in Paris too ☺️
13/08/2026: A welcome moment of relaxation after a difficult morning at Père Lachaise. Even the ambient noise of Place Gambetta and the typically Parisian bustle crossed our minds. The food was more than adequate. The service and waiters were very professional without being overbearing. It was a pleasure. We'll be back.
