I ordered the South Indian Thali (but the Dosas also look very tasty). Generous portion size and speedy service. Taste - varied and authentic. Affordable vegetarian food! The restaurant itself shows a bit of wear, from the menu to the walls to an improvised fix in the toilet; which is unfortunate since I enjoyed the food.

Had a wonderful experience at Saravanaa Bhavan in Paris. A big thank you to the staff for letting us in and serving us even though it was closing time. That kind of hospitality really made a difference.
I had one of the best dosas I’ve ever eaten in Europe here. I’ve visited many Saravanaa Bhavan branches, and the Paris location genuinely stood out as the best for me.
I’ll definitely visit again.

A nice restaurant, but it doesn't stand out from the fierce competition in the neighborhood! I had a very good cauliflower curry, but my friend had a very bland dahl. The food is simple and effective. It's great that it's 100% vegetarian. The service is very friendly. The prices seem a bit higher than some of the other restaurants.

Nice place. I did feel out of the norm and like I was ruining the atmosphere because of my “westerners”, which is understandable. In any case the food was great and the service was as well.

A truly educational visit.
We ordered Gobi Manchurian for €11.90 and specifically asked for it spicy. It arrived sweet, because apparently "spicy" is now open to artistic interpretation. When we mentioned it, the solution was to chop raw green chillies and throw them on top. Michelin-level problem solving.
The dish was soggy, packed with capsicum, and had more raw chilli than cauliflower. Calling it Gobi Manchurian feels generous. "Capsicum Manchurian with occasional cauliflower sightings" would be more accurate.
The restaurant was also impressively congested. Instead of letting customers wait, they seem to prefer placing people into any available corner, like furniture with appetites.
The masala dosa, mini idli sambar, and medu vada were good, so 3 stars for those brave survivors.
A small request: please ask the waiters to smile occasionally and maybe not stare at customers while they eat. It adds a lovely hostage-situation vibe to dinner.
Please don’t do this to Gobi Manchurian again.

At this restaurant, which I used to frequent, the food was very good. But lately, the quality has declined somewhat. The thali, for the price, is no longer up to par; the fillings are very meager. The staff isn't very attentive. The "vadais" are served cold... They need to pull themselves together and salvage their reputation!
