Small typical Corsican patisserie, family-run for four generations. It was the last stop of our trip to Corsica and perhaps the only one where we felt welcomed. The owner also speaks Italian very well, she recommended some typical desserts to take home and she really has a big heart. While we were having a chat, on his initiative he offered us a slice of a typical dessert (really good). Don't be fooled by the displays of other patisseries that authenticity is found in places like this.

This bakery deserves its five stars. I'm not very sweet, but then I'll get up at night for the sweet chestnut treat. We arrived in the village of Corte exhausted from the road and in unbearable heat. The waiters at the restaurants on the main street were as rude as possible, refusing us table service despite our big smiles. We fell back on this bakery with the idea of ​​leaving this town as quickly as possible. Not only was the lady at the counter charming, but she awakened our childhood memories by making us taste her wonders without us asking.
