A pleasant surprise in a neighborhood where I expected to find only tourist traps. Great menu. Really good and fresh dishes. Reasonable prices. Friendly atmosphere. See you soon!

We found this place by chance while looking for an Italian restaurant. We ordered two first courses, a ravioli and a gnocco, which made us feel right at home; the pasta was incredibly fresh and homemade, the ingredients were top-quality, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommended if you're in Paris. We'll definitely be back!

We visited Paris for the first time. We tried many restaurants, but SEB was the most outstanding! We went back multiple times. The owner even made me a special off-menu item! The best pasta ever! Then, to top off the first class service, he phoned ahead to reserve a table at a friend’s restaurant when we traveled to Italy the next week!

We had breseola, margherita pizza, and penne arabiata. They were all very good. We went on Sunday evening around 7 pm. There was a table empty outside, so we sat there immediately and didn't have to wait. The service was at a normal pace. We had ordered a salad but they forgot it, but we were full, so it wasn't a problem for us.

I had an amazing pasta alla norma here. Service was really fast and the food was delicious. It will definitely be one of go-to my lunch spots for when I am around Opera.

03/03/2026: A hidden gem worth trying! This small, unassuming restaurant is a bit cramped, but it's very authentic and boasts a large menu, including many vegetarian options. The flavors are excellent; I recommend the grilled ravioli or the bamboo shoots. The prices are also very reasonable, making it easy to share several dishes with friends. Despite the somewhat rustic and uncomfortable interior, I highly recommend it! One drawback: they don't accept credit cards.

03/07/2026: The friendliest restaurant around Balard! Good, simple, and fresh food, quick and friendly service, cute atmosphere. The only downside, some might say, is that the dining room is noisy, but you get used to it. However, it's best to book in advance given its popularity.
