Skab is a restaurant where every bite is an explosion of flavors, where you savor and dissect each taste sensation. I came for my birthday and left absolutely delighted. A huge thank you to them for all their attentive service during my visit! From the front-of-house staff to the kitchen team, everyone was incredibly kind.
It's also one of the few Michelin-starred restaurants that offers a menu that allows those on a tighter budget to indulge in a little culinary dream. One of the best restaurants in Nîmes, if not the best.
PS: The grapefruit marshmallow is a real treat.

A cuisine featuring ultra-fresh ingredients, a red mullet dish as delicate as a cloud, sublime sauces, and a parting gift of grapefruit marshmallows.
Sincere and genuine hosts for an unforgettable experience.

A delightful lunch this Thursday for four people. A real treat in a relaxed atmosphere and a very pleasant setting. We highly recommend it. The chef takes the time to chat with you!
A must-try!

Excellent dinner at Le Skab restaurant on Saturday, July 25th. Refined cuisine, impeccable service, and lovely attention from the entire team from beginning to end. The weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outdoors, but the atmosphere inside was pleasant and welcoming. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

First time here, and my opinion is mixed, especially considering we were in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The €58 set menu featured meat in the main course that wasn't as tender as expected.
The tuna was excellent, as was the dessert.
Being a coffee lover, I ordered a standard coffee.
With water and coffee, the bill came to €70 per person.
I was also surprised to see your four or five cooks leaving the restaurant one after the other around 2 pm (probably apprentices), walking through the dining room and among the customers.
I will return to try other dishes.

Good restaurant but the wait between courses was too long for our liking.

Unfortunately, a disappointment for us. The decor is decidedly outdated (it feels like a 1990s housing estate house). The food is decent but lacks flair and the presentation is rather bland, sometimes even served on old-fashioned tableware (orange bubble glass plates!). The desserts are a definite plus. The service is lax (with the exception of one elegant and meticulous young woman): simplistic language, glasses being grabbed and lifted to pour water, the kitchen staff, having finished their shift at 10:30 pm, wandering through the room in shorts and carrying gym bags... Well... So many elements that detract from the refinement of this restaurant, making its Michelin star seem rather baffling. There are far better value-for-money options in Nîmes.

It was my first Michelin star restaurant visit, and it left a fantastic impression! The starters were fantastic - the highlight of the dinner, - and so was the entree of warm oysters! Overall, a phenomenal experience and we were even too full to finish the dessert at the end of the night, which was a shame, as both service and almost all the food was spectacular (all outside main course, which not what we expected - but it didn't spoil our experience).
