Excellent gourmet restaurant. We had lunch there on Saturday for our wedding. Everything was perfect and everyone was delighted. From the exquisite dishes to the attentive service, from the table setting to the personalized menus, from the champagne to the wine, not forgetting the patio under the large trees... Restaurant Skab is a prestigious Michelin-starred establishment located in the heart of Nîmes, right next to the ancient Roman amphitheater (Arenes de Nîmes), offering a contemporary take on the region's gastronomy. Its high-ceilinged hall, where historical and modern architecture elegantly blend, and its peaceful inner courtyard (patio) under the shade of maple trees, promise guests an exceptionally stylish and spacious gastronomic atmosphere, isolated from the city. In the kitchen, a deep respect for the high-quality terroir products of the Gard and Occitanie regions takes center stage. The chef's seasonal tasting menus, crafted with local seafood, fresh vegetables, and fine meats using French haute cuisine techniques, perfectly balance the lightness of the Mediterranean with refined flavors. With impeccable service, a rich wine cellar, and meticulous attention to detail, Skab is a true star destination for those seeking an unforgettable and high-level culinary experience in Southern France.

A little disappointed compared to last time. The dishes were delicious except for the veal, which was too salty, and the dessert, which was too hot for the current weather. Despite this, we had a pleasant time with impeccable service; a small gesture of appreciation was missing in the end.

This was our third visit to this Michelin-starred restaurant in Nîmes. From the amuse-bouches to the petits fours, everything was perfect. The setting is very pleasant, both inside and in the shaded courtyard. The refined cuisine richly deserves its star. One of the best restaurants in the region. Excellent value for money for an establishment of this caliber. Congratulations to the chef, his wife, and the entire team. True professionals! We will return with great pleasure.

Skab is a restaurant where every bite is an explosion of flavors, where you savor and dissect each taste sensation. I came for my birthday and left absolutely delighted. A huge thank you to them for all their attentive service during my visit! From the front-of-house staff to the kitchen team, everyone was incredibly kind. It's also one of the few Michelin-starred restaurants that offers a menu that allows those on a tighter budget to indulge in a little culinary dream. One of the best restaurants in Nîmes, if not the best. PS: The grapefruit marshmallow is a real treat.

A cuisine featuring ultra-fresh ingredients, a red mullet dish as delicate as a cloud, sublime sauces, and a parting gift of grapefruit marshmallows. Sincere and genuine hosts for an unforgettable experience.
