Smithy's Tavern sur Venosc

We were fortunate to secure a table without a reservation. Our server, Mave, was absolutely outstanding and provided us with insightful recommendations. For drinks, we enjoyed half a pitcher of red wine, which proved to be ample for the two of us. Our main courses surpassed expectations; the steak was cooked to perfection, just as I requested, and the pork ribs were incredibly tender. Without a doubt, we would revisit this establishment and wholeheartedly recommend it to any visitors, especially after a day on the slopes!

Very cozy as a bar. Rather boring as a nightclub.

Firstly what can I say, food to start the night was unbelievable. Portion sizes and prices were so good. Headed to the bar where we were greeted by Smithy himself and his sidekick Dougie. Two great chaps, reminded me a lot like Batman and Robin. Enough stories between the two of them to write and book. Could have stayed there all night but Dougie had to go to bed. Would recommend to people and will definitely be back. P.S Dougie’s daughter is fit

Really great food. We had a great burger and ribs, which both came in a very big portion. Great atmosphere and personel also.

Fantastic bar, fantastic restaurant!

I ordered the steak with foie gras, the steak was a quality steak but they overcooked the steak by a mile (the steak was well done, i asked for medium). A lot of foie gras, which was tasty. My wife ordered the fajitas, the chicken one was alright but the meat one was unedible. The only reason this was not 2 stars was because my sons entrecote was really well cooked and tender and compared to the other restaueants in less deux alpes, was overall better for price.

My favorite place to party in Les 2 Alpes for years. 🎉 See you next year!

Trendy place mainly frequented by English people, young and festive atmosphere, very noisy, restaurant upstairs, brasserie on the ground floor, decent meal. Fajitas and chicken salad

Very good cuisine, very well stocked, nicely decorated.
