Snack the Big Fred sur Fontaine-De-Vaucluse

Came 40 mins out of our way after climbing Mont Ventoux 🚲 was searching for a quick sandwich spot and this was the only place that came up. Arrived and we were skeptical when we saw the pics on the menu but OMG WOW. We had two sandwiches - jambon emmental beurre and saucisson. Simple but absolutely delicious. Super friendly service and an INCREDIBLE view. Excellent value too - thank you Fred and sorry we ever doubted you! 🥖❤️

Excellent sandwiches (we had warm goat cheese and ham/emmenthal/butter) and a delightful salad. And in the most scenic of places. Fred is lovely. Highly recommended.

Delicious and inexpensive. The owner is fantastic. As the village postman, I stop by once a month to eat. His duck breast is succulent. I highly recommend it.

I discovered this little snack bar during a walk one Thursday evening in Fontaine... The only one open in the village... And what a gem! Fred is welcoming, warm, and so kind! I highly recommend this place! And see you soon, Fred! Especially for a special pizza Thursday night (the best pizzas I've ever eaten).

Excellent snack bar, we were very well received. Two sandwiches and two drinks for €20 with a lovely terrace. I recommend it, very good quality. And the owner was very friendly.
