Soprano sur Saint-Germain-En-Laye

First time at this restaurant in Saint-Germain. Large dining room, plenty of space, and a good selection on the menu. Fast service and generous portions. Ideally located in the city center.

The welcome was a bit cold, but the setting was nice. However, for the signature dishes, given the price, one expects a more refined presentation (a pretty plate isn't everything). That said, the dish was good, so overall a good experience.

The Caesar salad was very good! The pizza was average, with processed meat. It's annoying not being able to bring the card reader to the table. Even more annoying being made to wait 5 minutes standing to pay.

We dined here this week and the overall experience was very positive. We were seated outside on the small square, and despite the current high temperatures in Europe, the place was pleasantly cooler and very comfortable. The food was excellent, the dishes beautifully presented, and we all had a very enjoyable time. The restrooms were spotlessly clean, and overall, the restaurant's standard is very high. The reason for the 4-star rating rather than 5 stars relates to the atmosphere of the service. The head waiter, a rather tall man with short hair, seemed particularly tense throughout the evening. Perhaps he was simply having an off day, but this tension seemed to be reflected in his interactions and slightly affected the otherwise relaxed atmosphere for the other diners nearby. This feedback is intended to be constructive, as everything else was very well done, and the establishment clearly has a lot going for it. With a slightly warmer and more relaxed atmosphere in the dining room, the experience would be perfect from start to finish.

Disappointed by the completely disinterested service, which became almost overwhelming as soon as we finished our plates, and by the quality/price ratio (unsalted gnocchi!!), it wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth more than average.

Excellent calzone. The Italian wine was well recommended by the waiter. It closely matched my description of the taste of a French wine. Very reasonable price. ❤

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend! The dishes were delicious, generous, and perfectly portioned—exactly what you expect from a good restaurant. The service was impeccable: a caring, smiling, and truly attentive team. A wonderful experience from start to finish. We will gladly return!

Perfect for a family meal. I came with my two children, aged 18 months and 38 months. They loved the children's menu (they both finished their plates) and the warm welcome they received (thanks to Zoum ;-) )

Great place, delicious pizzas and pastas, and excellent service. The beef carpaccio is phenomenal. One of the best Italian restaurants in Saint Germain. Reservations recommended.

Great restaurant! The decor is very stylish and the food is delicious. We went there for a birthday celebration. We were treated to a performance by Volare from the Gipsy Kings, which was fantastic! Highly recommended!
