We had a really lovely time with a super friendly waiter. The food was excellent, with dishes meant for sharing, but you should expect to order about four small dishes per person (they are small plates).

Such a hidden gem! It’s a small, unassuming restaurant, but the food is absolutely delicious. The small plates are perfect for sharing, and everything we tried was flavorful and well prepared. The prices are very affordable, which makes it even better. Definitely a place you might overlook from the outside, but once you try it, you’ll be glad you stopped in.

A hidden gem to discover as soon as possible! At Taquin, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, but the food is fantastic. Every dish is creative, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. You can share small plates and enjoy a blissful moment right by the Opera House—don't miss it!

This restaurant is basically a Bip Gourmand hiding in plain sight. Food is mind blowing and better than some Michelins I’ve been to. No pretension at all. Down to earth vibe but transcendent food.

A great find at Taquin for lunch; their menu changes regularly and is always delicious and affordable. I highly recommend it, the products are fresh!

A small, unassuming restaurant. You might hesitate to stop in. Yet… the welcome is exceptional. And what can I say about the food… I'll mention the beef tartare, the yellowtail sashimi, the clams… the menu changes twice a week, so you certainly won't find the same dishes! In short, I left the place filled with flavors and emotions. A must if you're willing to venture off the beaten path.

Most definitely one of the best restaurants in the city. Every dish is made to perfection and the service is great. Very affordable also. Big recommendation.
