They're truly homemade (sorry to those used to industrial spring rolls or all-you-can-eat restaurants). And yes, the 10% discount is for takeout orders (like in almost all Chinese restaurants, so it's not surprising, especially since everything is well-packaged). Mr. Thuong is a character; if you don't like genuine people and are easily offended, that's no reason to say his food is bad, which is completely untrue.
