02/03/2026: by far my favorite meal from my trip

01/03/2026: After a long walk around Pere Lachaise cemetery we arrived near the end of normal lunch service time. The restaurant was crowded but we were found a table just vacated and we were treated very well. Our order arrived in good time including drinks at a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and in large quantities. Although the staff were under pressure caring for a wake of about twenty drinkers they remained calm, polite and efficient. We were well fed and enjoyed the typical French Bistro experience. The bill for two came to 44 euros including beer, cocktail and coffees. Great value.
