Hello, Before heading to Pessac, I made a quick stop at Subway. It had been a while since I'd been there. Well, I was a little overwhelmed by all the "sandwich" options. Luckily, a pleasant and professional young man guided me and advised me on the recipe on the menu. Okay, I went for it. It went into the oven very quickly, and even more quickly the additional filling was added, all with the same professionalism and friendliness. Then it was off to the register and time to eat. Honestly, I'm so glad I trusted this young man because it was delicious. The sandwich was lightly spiced and just spicy enough not to overpower the taste of the meat and other ingredients. Hello, we went today and were a little disappointed compared to usual. We come quite regularly and are usually very well received. Today, the two employees didn't seem very enthusiastic; one pretended not to hear/see us for quite a while, until her colleague returned from her break. We placed our usual order with an extra wrap, and we were disappointed with the quantity of fries we received. They are usually cooked in a pan so you can judge the right amount, but this time the employee just served them by hand... We paid for 150g for 6 fries (my partner and I usually share them, so we have a rough idea of ​​what it usually amounts to, and the quantity was clearly insufficient). Then, at the time of payment, if my partner hadn't requested a set menu, no one would have offered it to us, and the way the set menus were presented was not at all advantageous (choosing the wrap as a set menu instead of the second Sub30, even though we had specifically requested sandwiches, is clearly a shame). The employee, usually very helpful and smiling, became less so as the order progressed. It's very disappointing, and we don't plan to return for a while. This is more of a warning for future customers than anything else, to prevent this kind of unpleasant experience for others. Sincerely.

Always great service and the staff are very friendly! Just one thing: when ordering takeout, it would be nice to have a separate pocket for drinks, because the drinks on the sandwiches, which are fresh and therefore moist, tend to soak into the sandwich wrappers. 😉

The classic Subway experience. The ability to customize your sandwich (in terms of ingredients) is still the real bonus offered by this chain. I didn't find any problems with the individual components, and the final result was very good. However, I did notice a significant reduction in the size of the cookies since my last visit to a Subway, while the prices have remained the same. That's a real shame. The service wasn't perfect (a few mistakes with the order), but nothing that couldn't be blamed on the staff: I mainly got the impression that they were understaffed and under-trained, but well-intentioned. And in terms of atmosphere, it's very "generic fast food." Nothing remarkable, but not unpleasant either.
