They were the kindest shopkeepers I had ever met in France. They tried to understand me even though I couldn't speak French at all. They gave me ice to keep cheese, I bought in Lyon, cold in a hot weather. I was really amazed at their kindness... Merci beaucoup!

restaurant le marie stuart

13/02/2026: The Hotel Marie Stuart in La Roche-sur-Yon is fantastic, with a superb restaurant where the chef even grills your food right in front of you. The staff are welcoming and dynamic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic hotel and restaurant.
11/02/2026: I had my little tea while waiting for my bus; it was very quiet, I loved it.

Buffalo Grill - La Roche-sur-Yon

27/08/2026: Fantastic place! We were just passing through on holiday in La Roche and we had our coffee every day at Jérôme and Marinette's: a real treat! They are very friendly people, lovely with our son, with a great sense of business and a cheerful disposition! Thank you again for your warm welcome and your kindness to Sacha! See you soon!
26/07/2026: Les Arcades is a very welcoming bar with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it! 😊 Jérôme and Marinette always make sure to maintain a great atmosphere, and the place is very well-maintained.
