Sunny sur Paris

A neighborhood restaurant that I haven't had time to explore properly yet, but it seems to have a good reputation based on reviews and from what I saw, having gone in for a beer (a Ginette) for €5 (a bit pricey). However, the place isn't designed to attract passersby who linger for ages for no reason. Nevertheless, the atmosphere and decor are friendly, and the desserts I saw looked fresh and of genuinely high quality.

Yes, sorry for the late review, but I'm correcting myself. I left the day before yesterday, and I just wanted to let you know it was worthwhile. The service was adequate. The service itself was quite good. I find the extra charge for plant-based milk very expensive; I paid €12.50. On the total bill, I think it should have been much less. It was €9 on the menu. With the extra charge, it shouldn't be that much; it should be the regular price. I've seen cafes that were much more expensive and respected the price without the extra charge, which was the same price as the one listed. I think it was in the 19th arrondissement, near the Buttes-Chaumont park. I think it's a good strategic location, that's for sure, but I don't hold it against you. In any case, the management is pretty good. I felt that they were... You were a little stressed about the customers, but you don't have to take that into account in the restaurant business. I know it's difficult, and I can understand that, but at some point I had to point it out, and it's important. In any case, the welcome was very friendly, the waiter was nice, but when he told me, "My brother, no, that's not acceptable, we'll see a customer," that's not acceptable. You have to say, "Hello sir," there are minimum standards of respect. I had to say it. But at one point, the manager was very nice, but he couldn't answer my questions. But it's not a big deal, I'm not going to dwell on it. In any case, the place is very nice, a bit vintage with books, with a bit of a disco atmosphere, chill, calm, and pleasant, but sometimes the prices are very expensive, even with plant-based milk, very, very expensive indeed. And if you go, be mindful of the price, and be cautious with the tarot cards, please. In any case, don't be difficult or nitpicky. Respect them, and live your own life and form your own opinion. I went, I formed my own opinion, so form yours, but please don't blame or belittle them. We had a quick lunch of lightly spiced tuna on toast and sweet potato fries. Everything was excellent; the fries were truly amazing—so soft inside and so crispy on the outside. Kudos to the chef and the outstanding service. We will definitely be back.

A great restaurant, very relaxed and chill, but with staff who are very attentive to their customers. The food is excellent; you can tell they know their menu inside and out.

I just ate at Sunny, really, really good! The taste was top-notch! It's great to find typically Parisian brasseries with such good food.

Beautifully situated opposite the Buttes Chaumont park, with shaded or sunny terrace seating, and pleasant, friendly service. A lovely spot, even if the food isn't its strongest point.

A very nice place to have a drink, whether outside or inside, and particularly well laid out! However, I find the prices excessively high for a district like the 19th, which remains quite popular! I think paying almost 7 euros for a fruit juice or 9 euros for a milkshake is far too expensive. It's in the public interest to make these special experiences accessible to a wider audience.

Very good and very generous portions. It's just a shame to have to wait 30 minutes for your table to be cleared before you can have a coffee.
