A warm and lively place, with rich and delicious traditional cuisine. (If you're on a diet, this isn't the place.) But you don't go to a Stub to eat only salad. In short, good beer, good food, and excellent service. I keep going back because life there is so pleasant.

We were absolutely thrilled with this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and handles the language barrier very well; they speak German and other languages ​​very well. A very quaint and relatively busy restaurant. The staff at the entrance were very friendly, and since we didn't have a reservation, they let us know the exact time to return for lunch. The meats are excellent; the pork shank is a must-try, and the cordon bleu is also very good. The price is average for the location.

31/12/2025: Our Lapsang tea arrived in New Zealand yesterday in perfect condition, and we enjoyed our first cup today. Absolutely delicious! Thank you for the prompt and efficient delivery of our package, as well as for the two samples. We just tasted your Earl Grey tea sample, which was delicious. However, Earl Grey isn't our favorite tea at the moment; we'll stick with Lapsang! Lapsang is available here in NZ, but not of the same quality as your Thé des Muses.
