29/09/2023: We got married on 09/23/2023 at the mansion.
Everything went perfectly.
Communication before the reception was fluid on all subjects (Catering, Room, DJ...)
The delivery of the drinks and the installation of the decoration went very well.
The reception itself was perfect (welcoming guests, installation, service, storage, etc.).
All of our guests enjoyed the dinner and the venue.
We can only recommend this establishment.
05/09/2023: How to summarize more than a year of preparations and the wedding of a lifetime! Our wedding was beyond our expectations. After visiting just one place... we were already decided. The Kerhuel manor is dedicated to weddings. Everything is thought out and worked to facilitate the choices and progress of the preparations for the future bride and groom. The price of privatizing the manor is justified: an idyllic setting, its restaurant and accommodation, a DJ, etc. No need for a wedding planner! We can only recommend the manor to engaged couples who wish to get married near Quimper. My husband and I thought about it calmly and wanted to talk about the advantages and areas for improvement to best help the future bride and groom in their choice:
Benefits :
- The price which includes the privatization of the place and its service providers. This helps avoid the stress associated with searching for too many external service providers. No problem of tight timing, for example, linked to booking an external caterer.
- Service providers: catering, DJ, accommodation. Internal service providers know their work and the location by heart. We met each of them gradually and at key moments in our preparations. The meal was qualitative and worthy of a very good restaurant.
- The team and its availability: personalization, quick response time (telephone, email), kindness and accessibility.
- The setting, the environment: beauty of the building and its exterior, swimming pool, summer flowering of hydrangeas, tree-lined path, spacious rooms, decoration and cleanliness of the rooms.
Areas for improvement: We are fully satisfied with all the services provided by the manor and its team. However, we wanted to provide some advice which will only allow for even more professionalism. Of course, these 2 small points remain negligible compared to the happiness and joy that we experienced when we got married at the Kerhuel manor.
- Accommodation: We encountered difficulties in managing this. We had chosen to reserve the rooms for our close family and friends who we wanted to keep there in order to extend the evening until the end of the night. We kept an Excel table of people per room. Name errors (including errors with other bride and groom) at the time of booking but also payments upset us during the stressful period of preparations.
- Breakfasts: their price is not included in the room reservation which is quite expensive. After checking, this is not stipulated in the reservation contract that we sign at the beginning.
To sum up, we are still on cloud nine... filled with joy to have gotten married in the Kerhuel manor. We sincerely thank his team and the professionals who accompanied him. We will come back to celebrate our wedding anniversaries at the manor with emotion and great pleasure!
