Super good dishes with a very warm welcome, accompanied by a small cocktail. Special mention for the chef’s humor. We loved it

While passing through Manosque, we tried this restaurant following previous reviews: we loved it. The owner, who also does the service, welcomes you with a certain sense of humor. A good house cocktail is offered to you. The meal was plentiful enough for us (chef's menu with starter + main course + dessert at €29). The Indian flavors are really there. We loved the mint Lassi served generously: we had it in a large pitcher for 2, we were able to 'serve several glasses and enjoy it properly. For my part I was only disappointed by the shrimp curry sauce which was a little too salty for my taste otherwise for the rest it was a treat. And all this in a subdued atmosphere with an Indian atmosphere: a real culinary journey!

A good address. The dishes are very good but for me a little tight in quantity compared to the prices. The boss is a tease so we had a good time 🙏

I had high expectations for this place given the very good reviews. We ordered takeout, service was good with the owner making some jokes, and it was ready for pick up in 15 mins. We had ordered 1 chicken korma, 1 prawn curry, 1 palak paneer, 3 naans, and 1 fried vegetables. No lunch menu because it was a holiday, so we paid full price which came to about 43 euros with a 10% discount for takeout. I appreciated the three papadoms which were thrown into the bag for free. They were good. However, several factors I disliked : - the paneer was not paneer. I have eaten a lot of paneer in the past, some homemade from Indian friends, some store bought. This one was close to neither, and tasted like cream cheese or the french vache qui rit. It was truly disappointing. If you're not going to use paneer, at least use tofu which is closer to it than the texture and taste cream cheese. - the portion sizes were really disappointing : in each curry, we found maybe 3 or 4 maximum small pieces of chicken/prawn/"paneer". A joke for a 14 euros curry. - the naan was clearly not made fresh, it had been reheated or frozen before. I look forward to going to Indian restaurants for their naan which are incomparable to store-bought naans, but this time a store bought naan would have probably been just as good. I really dislike leaving negative reviews, and would have preferred giving this feedback in real life, but did not have the occasion, sadly. I hope that they can improve thanks to these comments & I still wish them the best, and appreciate the jokes at the smiles while ordering.

A nice restaurant that I have been frequenting for over 23 years... A warm welcome from the Owner, who always has the gift of making you smile, an explosion of flavors more or less spicy depending on our desires and a treat on the plate 😋 I highly recommend the Taj Byriany, accompanied by a very fruity Indian Rosé, Indian ice cream and Massalla tea👍🙏

We had a very good time in this restaurant, which offers very good, very tasty and tasty cuisine with very good value for money for 6 people. Just a small downside for the coffee which didn't taste very good!!! We will come back with pleasure.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille dans ce restaurant, qui somme actuellement en vacances dans la région. Très bon rapport qualité prix, plats goûteux et savoureux. Nous recommandons ce lieu.

Le Service est très sympa et la déco est typique Indienne Pour les végétariens il y a du choix. Je conseille le thé massala au lait
