Tajine d'or sur Joinville-Le-Pont

Restaurant with a lovely view of the Marne and a great atmosphere (good music selection). The couscous, served directly from the couscous pot, is excellent. The meat is perfectly cooked and very tender, and the semolina is fine and buttery. The waitresses gave us a very warm welcome.

The service is always impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy; I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything started well, but I was disappointed by the very light selection of pastries and also by the fact that we couldn't take home any uneaten food. We were told that the couscous and vegetables were unlimited, which isn't mentioned on the menu at all. So, I was very disappointed because we had to fight to take home the unfinished dishes, and we were given to understand that this was the only time they would make this effort, even though nowadays every restaurant is expected to offer takeaway meals to avoid waste. I'm really disappointed because my interaction with St-Maur was very pleasant and welcoming.

Everything was delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly, and the couscous was very fragrant. They also have a great children's menu!
