An all-you-can-eat buffet offering North African specialties with typical regional dishes. Unfortunately, the selection lacked variety, and the flavors weren't really there.
For example, the brik pastries were only filled with spinach, even though they were advertised with several fillings (spinach, cheese, minced meat). This was quite disappointing.
As for desserts, there were more classics like chocolate éclairs than genuine North African specialties, which is a shame.
The setting is very pleasant and well-decorated, which suggests good potential. I would be perfectly willing to pay €1 or €2 more for a more authentic, varied, and flavorful selection.

From the moment you enter the restaurant, it's a feast for the eyes, followed by a delight for the taste buds. Smiling staff. Friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices. We'll definitely return as soon as we're back in the area.

The buffet was varied and generally of good quality. However, the dessert selection was very limited: only two small panna cotta-style verrines, lacking any real flavor, and some rather mediocre Moroccan pastries (only one was truly worth trying).
A major drawback was the service: the atmosphere was tense and unpleasant. We were practically reprimanded for getting up at the same time, even though the restaurant wasn't full… and it was supposed to be a buffet. The same thing happened when we were curtly asked to put our plates at the end of the table. When we asked for water, the waitress looked up without smiling.
Frankly, the welcome and service have changed drastically, and not for the better.

We ate at Le Tajinier as a family for the first time tonight and we loved it! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the dishes were delicious and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic (I've never been to a restaurant with such a warm and welcoming ambiance: a real Southern vibe), the musicians, the dancer... everything was wonderful. Plus, the decor is simply magnificent. I highly recommend this restaurant!
