the most amazing food, ever. thank god! been on the road for a couple days (international travel) and was absolutely hungry and in search for a simple yet relatable meal. something substantial. so, bangladeshi food it was. ay dios mio! bingo! the gentleman at the counter could not, could not understand a word of what i was saying BUT knew perfectly well by looking at how excited i was. his recommended and humble lamb dish -- with rice and boiled egg has been one of the best i've ever had; moist and flavorful. his naan with cheese was out of this world. one thing missing though was: chile. oh boy, was i in heaven when i saw that side dish coming? hells yeah! yum thank you kandarie. new yorkers are known to be loud and demanding. no, we are not. we just know what TF we want. plain and simple. we eat, offer appreciation, pay (well) and leave. no fake nothing. 😊

The dishes are simply delicious, rather spicy but not too spicy with a touch of freshness (ginger, coriander). There is not much choice but the dishes represent the flavors of Punjab well. The prices are very reasonable and the welcome is warm. A successful bet for a new team that is starting up and we wish them good luck!

I came to this place to eat on recommendation by one of my friends. I have to tell you it's One of the finest places I have visited . It's a very small shop but needless to say the food really stands out for me. The biriyani is too good and very cheap. Infact THE Cheapest that I have seen in the entire Gare Du Nord. The owner and the staff is super friendly. I swear this place becoming quite popular among students. Do try out this place. You guys will not Regret it.
