TANTE EUGENIE sur Charenton-Le-Pont

A very pleasant surprise. We received a very warm welcome. The restaurant is clean and the food is refined and delicious. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Arriving somewhat by chance at 1:15 pm on a Saturday, we were absolutely delighted with our experience at Tante Eugénie's! We ordered an excellent warm goat cheese salad, one of the best I've ever had, with superb sweet and savory combinations that were perfectly seasonal, a veal hanger steak, and a sea bass fillet, and everything was delicious. The desserts were also delightful. The staff is lovely and welcoming, and we found the restaurant to be excellent value for money; we paid €30 per person for an aperitif, main course, and dessert, which is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food!

This is a small restaurant where you can enjoy a drink or a comforting meal in Charenton, right next to the Liberté metro station (line 8). The place is cozy, and the welcome and service are attentive and friendly. Several set menus are available; the menu is quite extensive, and there's even a vegetarian dish (velouté + puff pastry + vegetables) for €16.50. A great place for an evening with friends.
