Very good Chinese restaurant, whose cuisine is refined. It is possible to take a tasting menu or choose assortments of steamed or fried dim sum, if you can't decide. Among the meats, duck is particularly delicious, served with sauce, vegetables and small pancakes. The cocktails are very good and original, the service is impeccable.

Very tasty ! A treat (special mention for the spinach)

I have known this restaurant since its creation. it is a calm, relaxing and soothing place, without flashy decorations and other tasteless eccentricities. you can have lunch there peacefully. I have never been disappointed by the quality of the dishes I have tasted there, I admit that. I will return there with great pleasure.

We know Taokan St Germain well having dined there often. This time big disappointment in terms of the cuisine and the atmosphere: ordinary soup, tasteless duck and sole, uninteresting crispy shrimp. Only the seaweed salad remains delicious. Expensive for a bad dinner. The icing on the cake: Mr Éric Zeimour was dining with a friend in the back room. His noisy behavior scared 4 people away. We hesitated to do the same. Apart from any political orientation, this gentleman has no education and is not worried about the disturbance caused by his croaking and belching. The well-being of customers should be taken into consideration. The manager of the establishment could have intervened kindly with Mr Zeimour. So a disappointing evening in many ways.

The best of the best, delicious food, meat literally melts in your mouth, and staff extremely helpful and friendly! I highly recommend Lu Sun Jiao (chicken and green asparagus dumplings, Chao Bo Cai (Spinach peanut soy sauce), Ye Nai Ga Li (spicy red curry coconut milk with duck), Ya Song (finely chipped duck hoisin sauce and mandarin pancakes), Loc Lac Beef (spicy beef filet Taokan style) and for dessert Xiang Jiao (crispy toffee banana) with coconut ice cream.

Some of the items were great, while other items were not so much. Had the chance to try a couple dumplings, beef, red curry, fried rice and noodle. I would definitely recommend the chicken dumpling - savoury and melts in your mouth. Also the beef dish, although not as good as it use to be. The other dishes were okay, but nothing to be excited for. Would recommend only if you’ve been looking forward to eat here - other than that, maybe a pass.

I am from Asia and Chinese so when I selected a Chinese restaurant to spend Chinese New Year in Paris I was skeptical. I had little expectations however I cannot be more pleasantly surprised by Taokan, the food was great and the service too, staff were helpful and friendly. We were 5 people so we were able to order a wide range of foods from lots of dim sums, mains and desserts. Some of the dishes were less traditional and somewhat fusion but everything was delicious! We also had a round table which I always love as it is more sociable. The decor of the restaurant was modern and ambience was nice. If I wanted to have a Chinese meal in Paris again I am so coming back! For sure my friends in Paris will be returning!

Excellente cuisine, succulente et inventive, ma femme chinoise a adoré c'est peu dire, bon service, cadre agréable. Que demandez de plus ? Peut-être à l'avenir une table plis éloignée de la cuisine pour ne pas être imprégné de l'odeur de friture. Mais in fine c'était une excellente expérience culinaire.
