It's good, and even though you need to be motivated to eat a welche or a raclette in the sweltering heat, the restaurant stays cool thanks to the stone walls. Excellent atmosphere.

A superb evening! The service was perfect, a smiling waiter with a great sense of humor; efficient service; generous portions of food and drinks for two; and a generous aperitif and digestif. The place has a terrace as well as a very charming inner courtyard. I highly recommend this establishment 👍 Thank you to the team!

Simply fantastic. The waiters provided detailed information about the food and drinks. The restaurant is also located in the oldest part of the city, and the food was excellent.
Unlike other restaurants, they serve French beer.

I’ve stayed in Paris for 3 days and Rouen for 2 days. This was the happiest dinner I’ve ever had in these 5 days. The food is delicious, the staffs are friendly(maybe one of them is the restaurant owner? I don’t know), the service is good , and the price is very reasonable. I hope I’ll have chance come back to Rouen taste their delicious food again.

While visiting the city, we happened upon a certain Taverne Saint Amant and were trying to translate and then decide whether to stay for dinner. The owner, Tommaso, approached us and, with remarkable kindness and warmth, told us about the specials. We enjoyed a delicious dinner, the beauty of the place, and the friendliness and kindness of all the staff. Tres bien! 🥰
