Great find! This little Thai restaurant, @kapunka_cantine, is in the lively Montparnasse district of the 14th arrondissement. I opted for rice 🍚, a fried egg 🍳, and marinated chicken 🍗… it was delicious, well-prepared, and fresh from the kitchen. The portions were a good size. I also had a small lemon, ginger, and basil cocktail to refresh myself and aid digestion. I finished with a dessert that I thought I wouldn't like, but I ended up loving the not-too-sweet coconut milk with bananas 🍌 and tapioca. Fresh and very popular Thai cuisine, with a truly special 100% gluten-free, lactose-free, and allergen-free option 🌿, which is a huge plus for me, and that's a big thumbs up 🎉 because it's unfortunately all too rare in Paris. Authentic flavors with fast service. Quick tip: the portions are small for the price. Service was relatively slow.

The cuisine is authentic and refined. The service is friendly, and the decor is inviting. A delightful discovery halfway through our journey. Thank you to the team who welcomed us even at almost 11 pm.
