The Royal Aubigny sur Aubigny-Sur-Nere

Very good restaurant (no buffet). Friendly service (very friendly). Dog-friendly (which is rare in Asian restaurants). Pleasant terrace. And the menu is perfect. My favorite Asian restaurant.

The fire had deprived northern Cher of a landmark restaurant: it's back and just as good as ever. It seems like it's always open. What's certain is that it's always packed. What more can I say? Update July 23: Good, hearty dishes and a warm welcome. Shaded terrace. Update May 26: A slight dip in performance in the kitchen has been confirmed. They need to make an effort to get back to the very high level we've come to expect, please.

If you're a fan of all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurants, you might be disappointed by this one. I myself thought, "Just one appetizer and one main course instead of trying ten?"... I ended up having an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert here that I couldn't have had anywhere else. The dishes were generous and delicious, and for dessert, I had exquisite ice cream—the scoops were enormous. In short, I had a pleasant time at this "old-fashioned" Chinese restaurant. The staff is efficient, friendly, and discreet. I highly recommend this restaurant with its clean and well-maintained decor.

We stopped for lunch in Aubigny-sur-Nère and arrived just as service was almost over. Despite this, the staff welcomed us with a smile and allowed us to have lunch without any problems. The meal was very good, the dishes were well-prepared, and the service was quick and friendly. A great find, thank you for your kindness and flexibility!
