Friendly service. Price was low compared to other restaurants. Food was okay, but the main courses in particular weren't very good. The beignets and tiramisu were excellent.

I have a mixed impression of this family run restaurant. Beignets excellent. All our main dishes not really our taste. Deserts very good, especially the hazelnut tiramisu has been excellent! Prices fair.

Pastis for €1.50 in 2026 with pizzas starting at €8. That's the best!

Outdoor dinner in late June under a beautiful pergola. Relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Excellent fresh grilled fish, traditional Corsican lasagna, and hazelnut veal escalope. Extremely kind and friendly staff.

June 14, 2026: While traveling around Corsica, we booked a night at the "A Balamata" guesthouse, located 100 meters from the pizzeria 👍. It was actually the owner who recommended this restaurant (which is right behind the church), now run by his daughter. We had dinner there and a very pleasant evening with a very welcoming, smiling, and humorous waitress 😆 (because I love to joke 😉). We ordered wine and two duck breasts 🦆 which were cooked to perfection and very tender 😋 (thankfully, as I have some minor dental issues 🫤). The meat was succulent and prepared like in a Michelin-starred restaurant 👍. At the end of the meal, the former owner came to greet us and asked for our feedback 👍 (which is quite rare these days). The owner very kindly offered us a fennel-based digestif (a local specialty) 😋. In short, if you're feeling peckish, go there without hesitation and you won't regret it 👍. I will cherish wonderful memories of my visit to this family-run restaurant 🥰.
