Poorly organized, we thought we would easily find a restaurant in Bayeux on a summer evening. From restaurant to restaurant we quickly understood our mistake: everything was booked. We had the idea of ​​going slightly out of the center (15 minutes on foot from the cathedral!) and what a nice surprise! An intimate restaurant, refined cuisine, attentive waiter and attentive chef. The cuisine is succulent and if the chef offers you a Coro Coro rum at the end, the evening is a huge success! (PS: thanks to the chef, now I even have my personal supply of Coro Coro!)

Rather friendly welcome and original decoration. We took the menu for 25 euros (starter, main course, dessert), but we expected better given the ratings given by other customers. Only our dishes stood out. The crumble was not finished but the commercial gesture was kindly done. I think the lack of motivation must have something to do with it. It's a shame. Afterwards.... It must be said that we called 4 times between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., without ever receiving an answer, before finally going there. It doesn't help fill a restaurant.

A great discovery in Bayeux: fresh, tasty, generous, inventive cuisine for the Menu Malin at €18 (starter/main course or main course/dessert) and €25 for the entire menu. Open 7 days a week, lunch and dinner, with a very friendly owner and waitress, frankly, it's very good value for money (especially in Bayeux!). A little out of the center (but only a 7 minute walk from rue St Jean), the restaurant is lucky to have a large number of free parking spaces opposite! Some products, alcohols etc... are on sale in the restaurant In short, thank you for this good time: we had an excellent evening thanks to you! And we will come back!

The visit that evening was excellent. The chef was welcoming, as always, and the food was absolutely delicious, with our taste for exquisite Asian spices. My beef was huge but better than the tenderloin in terms of taste and tenderness. My husband really enjoyed his vegan burritos, yes vegan food is available on all menus. The menu is small but freshly prepared and always special. The price is worth it!

My husband and I ate a semi-gourmet menu this evening, it was simply delicious. The dishes are fresh products and cooked according to the seasons. The server is very kind and attentive to our needs. Small restaurant outside of Bayeux but where you absolutely must stop, you will not be disappointed. See you soon.
