Uni Buffet sur Houdemont

We had been to the old restaurant once, and to be honest, it was one of the worst all-you-can-eat buffets I've ever had. But the new restaurant is a really pleasant surprise! I think it stands out from many other all-you-can-eat buffets. There's a huge selection, the food is prepared right in front of you, and everything looks very clean and well-maintained. A great find, I highly recommend it! 😊

Overall, everything went very well and we had a good time. The only downside was the host's attitude, which we found rather unpleasant. After we sang two songs as a family, she wouldn't let us sing a third and rather abruptly took the microphone from us so we could sing alone. Yet, the restaurant was empty and the evening was drawing to a close. She seemed bored with her evening.

It's very clean and comfortable, and the toilets are also very clean. I really love the luxury and the food is very good. At lunchtime, you don't need to book.

Since they renovated, it's absolutely gorgeous! The difference between the old and new is night and day! And it's the best all-you-can-eat buffet in Nancy! I've been coming to Uni Buffet often for a very, very long time! My advice is to make your own judgment and not listen to others who say, "Yeah, I got sick..." After all, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet! And what's great is that it's always packed, so the dishes are constantly changing, unlike other buffets that only have 36 seats per service. On the other hand, there's a huge selection! Appetizers, sushi, pizza, wok dishes, but the meat selection is limited compared to other varieties, as are desserts and cheese. And it's the biggest buffet in Nancy in terms of variety! But the quality is still that of a Chinese buffet... you go there to stuff yourself, not for the quality of the food! That's all there is to it! Because apart from the sushi and pizzas, which are made fresh, everything else is frozen! And 1000% industrial, that's all! I even got the cheese and meat sticks from my plate still frozen, which just goes to show you how frozen they really are. And again, you go there to stuff yourself silly! Anyway, the decor is definitely worth the trip!

We were delighted to return to our restaurant. The only downside was the queue at the self-service kiosks! A nice touch was the robots that bring the drinks...

Very nice new decor, but one small drawback: it feels like arriving at McDonald's with their ordering kiosks—only three seems a bit limited. The cups are plastic, and if you want a coffee, you have to go back to the kiosk. Otherwise, the food is good. However, the parking lot is still not cleaned (weeds, litter, cigarette butts, etc., and this has been the case for many years). A little effort to keep it clean would be appreciated. Regards

The decor has been redone, but the food is cold and bland. Disappointing.

First visit, I don't regret it. The buffet is gigantic and very good. Only small problem: the closing time of 10:30 pm on weekdays is still acceptable, but on weekends it's too early, especially since they make it clear that you have to leave.

It has always been the best buffet in the region for me, it's a shame the price has increased so much…

First visit since December 31, 2025. Delighted to be back at Uni Buffet after a long wait. The new decor is completely unexpected and surprising. It's a success! The menu hasn't changed; the essentials are still there, with the same high quality and new items to discover. You'll need to get used to the self-service kiosks, but it works very well and has been standard practice for years. A truly wonderful transformation, the best Asian buffet in the region, congratulations!
