On this warm and peaceful Sunday, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal in this tranquil setting. The service was impeccable; we weren't rushed, nor were we forgotten—perfect timing to savor every bite from aperitif to dessert. The price-quality ratio, considering the central Paris location, is excellent. Thank you to the smiling, attentive, and pleasant team. I wish you continued success and will certainly return during my next visit to Paris.

We stumbled on this little cafe while doing a scenic (but very hot) walk around Paris. My daughter was feeling overheated and grumbly, I saw that they had fish and chips and decided to give it a go. What a lovely experience this was! Service was attentive helpful and so kind. The area is beautiful and shaded, we loved relaxing and people watching under the umbrellas. There are friendly but unobtrusive ducks and my daughter kept “accidentally” dropping food :) the food was quite good, I had a French chicken stew that came out in a little pot. The limoncello spritz was also worth writing home about. Thank you for having us Cafe Des Marronieres~ you’re an oasis in this hot Parisian summer!

Update: We have received a refund for the initial amount paid. This means that now at least the payments have been corrected. I don't know if this is because of my review or not, but at least that part of the whole issue is now solved. I think this is a nice step anyway and i thank the owner of the place for his efforts. I also thank the waiter initially serving us: he did is very best and there is nothing to blame him at all. The only thing remaining is the extremely rude behaviour of the waitress attacking my wife. I still don't condone such conduct (nobody would) but i am prepared to leave it at that. It is what it is. Original Review: Never ever have i been treated so damn rude by any waiter or waitress like i have been at this place today. We paid for our food and the payment somehow went wrong with the payment terminal at their side. I immediately checked my banking app however: the amount indeed was not in my bank account anymore which simply means we had indeed paid. Contacting my bank further proved it: the amount paid was not in my account anymore and would be in theirs tomorrow. But since they did not see the transfer to their account at that time they blocked us from leaving. Even after i showed them the payment proof in my banking app they called me a liar and they wanted us to pay again! After a lot of arguing the waitress got extremely agressive and quickly grabbed my wife's mobile phone out of the pocket of my wife's trousers and held it hostage, threatening to call the police if we did not pay again. But we already did, my bank app proved it!. We only got the mobile phone back after paying twice for the same mediocre meal... even bringin in the police later did not help. Never again at this place. Unbelievably rude waiters, complete anti social behaviour. Not recommended!!

I really enjoyed the food and the lemonade; if you don't like very sweet drinks, I highly recommend it. It's a quiet place with a nice atmosphere and good music too.

Fantastic cafe in the Tuileries gardens. Friendly staff and quick service. The fixed menu was good value and the atmosphere is fantastic. There's a toilet, but only one, so expect to queue at busy times.
