VALENTHEZE campsite-auberge sur Montcabrier

As a family of 5, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camping Déjà Vu. We had a smile on our faces right from the moment we arrived. The spacious pitches (certainly nice when camping with De Waard) stood out immediately, as did the relaxed atmosphere, the children playing, and the sheer amount of greenery. As far as I'm concerned, this campsite definitely falls into the 'nature campsite' category. Our children (7, 10, and 12) enjoyed themselves constantly. I had some doubts beforehand about whether our eldest would enjoy herself. After all, with about 30 pitches, you always have to see if there is enough social interaction. I needn't have had those doubts. Every day there was wonderful playing, swimming, or whatever else is part of campsite life. The owners are very friendly, approachable, and visible. Very nice. If you needed something, they offered advice or you could borrow something for a moment. Even in 40-degree heat, it was a pleasant stay at the campsite. Our spacious pitch always had shade. The campsite is also a wonderful base for day trips. Bonaguil Castle is just a little further away. We visited towns like Sarlat, Cahors, Monflanquin (where there was a very fun medieval festival that weekend, highly recommended), and the Dommd Caves. There are various small lakes in the area. And the many Marché Gourmands. Fun activities were also regularly organized at the campsite, such as a boat race and dinner on the terrace in the evening. And every morning, our children looked forward to the morning newspaper with fun facts and tips.

Fantastic campsite, very friendly atmosphere, delicious food in the restaurant, also for children. We have been coming here for four years in a row, at the request of the children (8 and 10 years old). We have never felt like we've returned anywhere else, but here it feels like coming home every year. Super campsite 👍

What a fantastic campsite! From super hospitable and dedicated owners, large spacious pitches with plenty of shade, a lovely swimming pool, a friendly and pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and plenty for the children to do, right down to the beautiful location and tips shared for exploring the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the campsite. We received a very warm welcome, were given a beautiful spot, and there is a very nice restaurant where you can dine. We are now at a different campsite and miss the morning newspaper every day. We recommend Déjà vu to everyone!

Maurice and Astrid are very friendly, committed, and customer-oriented owners with two very friendly daughters. We were faced with an unexpected, serious car breakdown. It turned out that the owners' relationship with a local garage run by Dutch people was worth its weight in gold. Although the garage is fully booked for 3 months with local regulars, we were helped with priority within 3 days. With the mention that they make an exception for Dejavu customers, we received wonderful assistance and were able to continue our trip for another 3 weeks later! The campsite exudes nature and silence (peace), and the pitches are very spacious. What is special is that every morning not only are fresh bread rolls available, but you can also take home a homemade campsite newspaper, which always contains fun tips for activities that day. Dinner is simple but very tasty. The hamburger was my favorite. The swimming pool is situated in a lovely spot. So we can certainly confirm what is said about it! We can highly recommend this campsite. We will definitely be back again. Josje and Nico

What a wonderful holiday we had: a lovely large pitch, sun and shade, and a nice view! Furthermore, we really enjoyed the hospitable owners and their delicious food! Highly recommended for anyone who loves old-fashioned camping! Thanks Maurice and Astrid !!!

Another wonderful stay at this campsite. As always, we received an incredibly warm welcome, enjoyed delicious meals in the restaurant every evening, and had a nice drink together.
