Vardechois sur Hyeres

So, this isn't where I would have initially stopped... because of its location... on a bend with a tiny parking lot, but oh my... what a mistake that would have been! It's an absolutely delightful place... the decor is absolutely fantastic! From the decorated chairs inside, where your eyes are drawn to all the vintage objects and advertising signs... a very particular decor that takes you back in time... superb! As for our meal, well, I discovered the best stuffed vegetables of my life! A real treat, and I'd give anything for the recipe... The waitresses are incredibly attentive to the customers... I had a magical time! Wonderful...

Not great... the decor is a hodgepodge, you're seated on school chairs, and the bar clientele is noisy. The waitress is welcoming but clumsy; she takes our aperitif order but doesn't tell us there won't be any pizza on the menu tonight (a shame), and flits from table to table without waiting for the first table to finish its conversation. On the other hand, a major advantage: the portions are generous. Visiting the area, it's a good option for an evening.

Excellent canteen in Hyères (the best) – it's good, efficient, and affordable. Very good and dynamic table service, so go for it!

Great time, the staff are great and the price-quality ratio is excellent.

I had lunch at Le Vardechois, it's a very good place. We were greeted with a smile and the staff were very friendly. I had a Caesar salad which was very good and generous, made with fresh ingredients. They have a nice menu and in the evening they make pizzas in addition to the regular menu. I highly recommend it and I will gladly return. At the end of the meal, they offer you a glass of Get 1 sparkling wine or rum. Thank you for this lovely experience.

I'm still giving it 5 stars despite a small hiccup. On Friday, I went to order mussels, but some of them were still closed. I told the waitress, who then called the manager, who apologized, which shows that customers are listened to. I also took the opportunity to ask why aioli wasn't on the menu, but it's a shame it's only available by reservation. She did let me taste the aioli, and I must say I ate the whole bowl, it was so delicious! 😋 I'll definitely be back. Thanks again, and see you soon.

I'm rediscovering this restaurant! The welcome was fantastic, the advice was excellent, the portions were very generous and delicious, the meat was high quality—everything was perfect. And to top it all off, the desserts were incredibly good. Don't leave without the complimentary glass of Dijon mustard (I don't drink alcohol, but it was fantastic). You can go there without hesitation; the prices are very reasonable. Next time I'll try the pizzas.
